It's my cake week at work next week and I don't have an oven!
I don't want to make rice crispie cakes etc as these have been done to death - although I do love them.
I'd like to do something chocolatey, but am a little worried about the reicpes. I don't really have the funds for trial and error.
What do you think of the sound of this one (I love the idea of using toblerone):

Or this:

Or has anyone got any tried and tested ideas?

Hi,
I often make the 2nd one , dead easy and goes down a storm, although you only need to cut into small squares as its rich, or i think it is

oooh i always make the 2nd one as well....we call it clarty cake!

The second one is much cheaper as well!
If you fancy a cheap and easy chocolate cheesecake try this:
white chocolate cheesecake
4oz digestive biscuit crumbs and 2oz melted butter for your base
400g white chocolate
284ml double cream
500g full fat philadelphia (cheap stuff from Aldi at 45p ish a tub is fine)
vanilla essence (optional but nice)
whip the cream, add softened philly, add a bit of vanilla essence if you have it then stir in slow melted white chocolate. Put it on top of the base and leave overnight
I bet it would work with toblerone instead whitye choc. Must try that actually
other easy ones on cheesecake thread here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=270808

I might actually make the second one then. It'll be much cheaper too. Maybe I could buy a baby toblerone and stick a triangle on top of each slice
