First Anniversary Combo Breaker

My husband has came home from work today saying there are rumous going around his work that the company are going to have a 6 week shut down at xmas. The rumour is that they will be having the 6 week shut down at xmas and will not be paid for it. Can they do this??

    Dont know the answer to that - but just to say presumably everyone would be wishing the bosses "Happy Christmas" in a very sarcastic tone of voice if so - gawd! Hope those "written particulars" Little Voice mentions cover you for this and that they cant do it.
