ps3, wii, xbox, ds games on offer @ morrisons

well after going to M & S to grab a two dine for a tenner deal, I ventured into Tamworth Morrisons...just as I expected really... not a lot and this time nobody around to ask!

While on my way home I thought I'll drive over to Swadlincote... just to see!

Couldn't believe it when I saw TWO Wii Tiger Woods on the shelf -:j I grabbed one and as I stepped back to look for Guitar Hero a chap came and grabbed the other one.

Couldn't see any so went to the desk and said "I don't suppose you have any DS Guitar Heros?"

YES!! she said, they've just come in! So I got that too! :j

Then I remembered my daughter saying she really wanted the Imagine, Girlband for the DS so I went back and asked if they had that too but they hadn't.

So then I thought, I'll just drive into Burton and see.... They had it there so I got that too! :j

All in all a very productive day today.... my purse is a lot lighter now though!!

Think I'd advise you not to go to the Tamworth one - definitely try Swadlincote or Burton!!

I got to Swadlincote at about half 12 and I would think that the deliveries are about the same time each day??

It would be definitely worth a phone call to them tomorrow!!

well aberdeen had sod all went to pc world and they would have price matched but they had none of the games so i came away empty handed

Just got back from Doncaster Morrisons.
They had left
5 Mario & Sonic at The Olympics on Wii
4 Super Smash Bros Brawl Wii
0 Guitar Hero DS on shelf but I saw 3 in the stock drawer when I collected mine (probably for staff)
1 Tiger Woods 09 on PS3

I had quite a long chat with a couple of staff there who said they will be getting a delivery tomorrow but unsure what time as it varies quite a lot.

Morrisons have the best customer service out of any supermarkets I've come across. Very helpful. I'll be doing more shopping there in the future. They also had loads of food offers on as well.

It was in the cupboard behind the counter when I bought mine from a different store - I think it is partly because the larger case (with the extra controller) does not fit on shelves easily - so probably worth asking if you don't see it

I just wrote this on the PC World thread, but I managed (without much persuasion) to get the Stirling store to price match Morrisons this afternoon. I don't think anyone else had asked as they didn't seem to know about it and the only check they did was to phone the store to ask what the offer was. I got Mario Galaxy Wii and Mario Kart DS (didn't have Wii) for the grand total of £24.

I'm not envious at all, honest! Well done you, I want Tiger but i'm not travelling to Swad for it i'm afraid, i'd be well gutted if I didn't get it after all that effort.

Super Mario Galaxy shouldn't be in the offer, but PC World didn't bother to check when I went in.

Just got Resident Evil 4 for the Wii from Argos (cat number 568/5633) for £14.99 - 1 pence cheaper than the Morrisons offer!

nice, i'd end up with someone on the ball and there is only one morrisons in a 30 mile radius i think so wouldnt be hard for them to say no if they checked. have to live in hope they come in.

I'm not promising but ...I have to take my daughter to get her 16 week injections tomorrow morning at Fazeley baby clinic and when I come back, I may just pop back into Morrisons at Swadlincote as there are some new releases out tomorrow.. some horsey ones that we want to get nieces for christmas....If I do go (which will be about the same time I went there today!) and if they do have Tiger Woods, I can pick one up for you if you like??? I live about five miles out of Tamworth now and Swad is about another five miles the other way... my mum lives not far from Tamworth centre and I am in that area most days...

Like I said, I can't promise I will definitely be going... depends on how whingey my little girl is after the needles but if I do then I can get one...if they've got one!
