PaP/Moozie/Rog2's what have/What will you spend today - Thursday 4th September

Well, as Rog seems to be elsewhere (hopefully being interviewed or similar!) and PaP doesn't seem to get online until later being nearly lunchtime I thought I would put a toe into the water and start the thread for today.
Simply, by stating what we will/have spent we hopefully don't buy unnecessary things - I understand chocolate is not unneccessary!
After two NSDs I have to buy a birthday card for a work colleague - I was prepared and bought one a month or so back but ended up using it for a friend of a friend who was down.
I'm told there is a sale at sainsbury with some gardening things in and as I am trying to come to terms with tge garden I'll allow some spending if appropriate - I need a trowel.
So, all going well - 1 card for as little as possible!
and maybe a trowell.

Hi peb, and everyone :hello: :hello: :hello:
I'm sorry if I haven't been around today - my sister-in-law arrived, from Italy last night with her daughter and two granddaughters, so I have been a bit 'busy' catching up with them - not to mention 'sampling' all the cheeses, prosciuto, salami and wine that they brought, so thanks for starting the thread, peb.:T :T
As our 'guests' are here for a week, we did have to go to ASDA and Tesco to do some 'extra' shopping and have, I am ashamed to say, spent over £40 of 'unbudgeted' money.:(
In saying that, though, virtually everything that we bought has got a 'yellow reducing label' on it, including a whole 'crispy duck' reduced from £9.00 20 £2.40 - Guess what we're having for tea tonight. :rotfl:
Anyway - still no more news on the 'job front'. I am expecting a call tomorrow - just hope it's not the standard 'rejection' Email.
So, I must get back to the 'family' - have a great evening everybody and I'll see you all tomorrow. :wave:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
