I'm just wondering about the way everyone comps. For the first couple of months I did comps I entered them as they were ending and I won loads. For the past couple of months I have been entering them as they are posted and I haven't won as much. I'm happy entering them as they are posted because I'd hate to get to the end of the month and have that huge amount of comps to go through, I prefer to keep it fun!

Also, when I entered comps as they were ending 99% of my wins were through WEM, now I enter comps as they are posted 99% of my wins are small wins that come straight in the post with no notification. Makes me wonder if its just coincidence

Anyway I was just wondering how many of us enter as they are posted and how many enter as they are ending? Was going to do a poll but not sure you can on here?

I started doing the comps ending lists and entering them as they came on... then one day I spent a long time going right through all the comps on the boards that I wanted to win and entered them all..

.. now I have started to work right back again and am up to 6th September now but have been entering them again as they are posted.

I am not too fussed on what I win, I enjoy doing it and I had my first big win (it's big to me anyways) on 1st September and I started comping in July I think or end of June.. can't remember now

I entered the food processor one on the 30th from the Comps ending list and I won that and got the WEM 1st Sept

I try and keep up to date with them, so I generally leave off at a certain point at night and then go from there the next day, working towards the newest comps. When I first started I spent a few days working from the oldest forward & entering everything I wanted. I rarely used the comps ending list simply because I knew I'd already done most of them if that makes sense. I haven't won anything off of it the few times I did use it, but there's loads I haven't won by keeping up with the comps. I think it's most just luck of the draw though!
