Slimline Gas Fire

Hi Folks,
Gas fire has given up.
I need a slimline decorative gas fire (16" i think) to fit into my existing fireplace.We have a precast flue(not a brick chimney).I am looking for one that looks like an old coal fire, not one behind a glass.
Can anyone recommend a good reliable make with a good output say 3.5kw+ as i want it to heat the room not just look decorative.Oh and in a brass finish, think that just about sums it up.Any price range considered.
