IPA or BRO Question?

I have read a thread on here this morning that has got me thinking.

After you have been discharged do you still have to the let your OR know anything like changes in income and the like?

Can you only have an IPA or BRO placed on you while you are bankrupt or can this still be done after discharge?

  • Nope once discharged your free to do what you please.....unless your in an IPA then any changes to your financial state you still would have to inform the trustee

far as i'm aware BRO/BRU can only be given at time of bankruptcy...not after discharge same as an IPA they can only be started while BR

Yes as myst says. Usually an IPA is started quite soon after you are declared bc. Where as a bru/bro is usually done towards the end of the 12mth bc period. Neither can be implimented after discharge.D

However if the OR feels you have acted dishonestly they can apply to the courts to get your discharge overturned

(ie you are paying an IPA, you get a massive payrise but fail to tell the OR at all and he finds out, as you are liable to pay a new IPA based on the new wage he take steps to recover monies etc - doesn't apply if you haven't got an IPA obviously :) )
