How long does it take to update your credit file?

Hey Guys,
I used https://www.creditexpert.co.uk to review my credit report, much to my horror i noticed there was an outstanding bill to Vodafone from 9 months ago of £115. I got in touch with them immediatley and paid off the amount in full on Monday.

This money has gone from my bank account and Vodafone have confirmed they have received it, yet when I checked my credit report again this morning, its still showing that I owe them the £115.

Just wondering how long they usually take to update the files to confirm that i've paid it?
Cheers

Darren

I think they can be slow, but I'll bump you so that someone who knows sees this. :D
  • I may be wrong, but I got the impression from checking my own files that they might only update the credit files once a month.
  • Yes, they can take a month or so to update.

    Thanks guys!
Just wondering really thats all, cause on the report it gives the dates that they were updated, and both my regular Orange bill and that outstanding Vodafone bill (now paid) were updated on 03/08/2008 just thought it might have been the same day every month.

    Cheers
