  • Not had good feedback from Payplan... Its on my other thread...

With regards to the CCA letters only Natwest credit card has responded. The letter reads,

"We refer to your letter dated 15 August2008, regarding the above mentioned account.

You requested a copy of your credit agreement for the above mentioned account. However, as the account has been fully repaid, there is no longer any requirement for the Bank to comply with this request. Therefore, we have returned your 1.00 payment as the fee is not required.

Should further assistance be required, please do not hesitate to contact us at the above office.

    PP Recovery Manager"

I am puzzled as to what 'fully repaid' means because it is not... unless they are referring to a bad debt reconciliation or some sort of insurance they had in place

What do I do now? Obviously on one hand they are saying is fully repaid but on the other hand the threatening letters are still coming....

Natwest are not looking at this as being a request for a copy of the CCA but as a payment towards a debt which they say is "fully paid" - which may mean that a DCA ahs bought the debt. Is Natwest pursuing you for this debt, or is a DCA doing so.

It would probably be in your best interest for a CCA not to be found so not sure you should write to Natwest until we know what is happening with this.

I also suggest you edit your first post as you son't seem to be getting many responses in your thread, and alter the subject heading to something a little more relevent.

Hope you're doing ok - was away for a few days for a family funeral.
