Would be v grateful if anyone can answer a few questions about this, (I'm not v technical!). Does this TV have 1 HDMI port? (Is 1 port normal or do some TVs have more than 1?). If I have a PS3, sky, & DVD player, can it all be plugged into this TV?! Also, is it digital and got everything needed for the future?!
So plasma TVs are better than LCD? Does anyone know the best plasma deals at the moment with a TV similar to this one?
Thanks for any help & advice!
Oh-is this still the best deal anyone has found for this TV? Thanks again!0 -
thanks for the spot - Im just looking now for something like this to go in the bedroom.
Sadly this takes up too much space with those silly wide speakers on the end for where I have in mind, but a great bargain for some other lucky ppl0 -
I bought the 32" about a year ago for £299!
Been very happy with it and very good value for money, glad I bought it!Many a Mickle makes a Muckle!0 -
Yeh I`m looking at this one too.
But who are Hannspree? i.e. country of origin, are they the trade name /subsidiary of another Co.?
has anyone compared the spec & quality Vs the good price.
Is the screen big and the picture rubbish ? ie all style & no substance?
Anyone know any other tvs around this price range Vs size.?
[Vestron or some such?]
( I went to visit some relatives who had spent 1.5K+ on huge screen tv + bells & whistles etc etc. However when I sat about 8 feet away it looked rubbish! all pixilated ....am I missing something..smoke & mirrors?..digital contact lenses or some such?)0 -
I've had my Hanspree 37" for a year now and can't fault it, its superb!
Only thing i would say is you can't turn the volume down with your sky control and you can't set it up to do it either
But the picture and everything else is immense, i didn't get the speakers on the side but paid £365, so thats a good deal
Hanspree are made by one of the big manufacurers like hitachi i've been told0 -

From the look of the photo of the reverse on the Misco site I would guess that you can remove the side speakers - there seems to be screws and brackets holding them on. I don't have one though so I could be wrong.

I do have the previous model of Hannspree 37" and would thoroughly recommend it.0 -

Hi, I have one too, I had the same problem with the sky remote, there is a code but only works on later firmware (V under batt' flap) remotes, got a newer remote and the code works fine (dug up on the net somewhere!)0 -

No... it's working perfectly! you get use to it after a few days (daft how we put up with a crap picture as long as the tv's 4 foot wide and 3 inch thick!) only time you'll see a good picture is with HD, but you do need a HD input device like Sky HD! Some of the normal sky channels are so watered down, it's like watching through frosted glass! :rolleyes:0 -
Thanks for the heads up and positive feedback, I may well go for this.
Is this a limited offer ie should I snap it up quick?0 -
Oh yes
I forgot to ask.
am I stating the bl**ding obvious to presume it will have a wall attachment fitting?
........ and in addition that I will have to purchase and fit said attachment bracket?
thanks again.0
