Going Bankrupt Tomorrow

My Dh and I are going bankrupt tomorrow. We have to be at the court at 10:30 am.

All of our forms have been completed online and printed out. We both have 3 copies of each and also a copy of the fee exemption form each with up to date proof of our benefit entitlement (Dated 26/08/2008).

We dropped our SOA into the CAB this afternoon to be checked and we now have them back, we haven't been given any notes to let us know if we have to change anything or missed anything out, so it looks like we have covered everything.

Thank you to everyone who helped me with all my questions to do with the SOA.

My only question is should I staple the sets of forms together as at the moment they are all loose. By that I mean should I staple form 6.27 together and then 6.28 together?

Has anyone got any pointers as to what I should remember to take with me tomorrow - I don't want to forget anything.

  • Hi Jaks,

    Good luck with tomorrow

Please do not worry too much - the main things you need are the forms which you have 6.27 & 6.28. I never stapled any of mine together just kept them in seperate piles in plastic wallets. You will also need money for fees.

All in all it should take a couple of hours going from one desk to another to get your forms checked, paying your fees and speaking on oath then finally the judge - you wont be the only person there for the BR reason so don't feel alone - feel united!! :rotfl:

    Best wishes again

Best of luck Jaks. I did staple our sections together-only because i'm so disorganised . Then still put the forms in plastic files!

Again-best of British-will think of you tomorrow.

Thanks for the reply's. I think that we will go with the plastic wallet idea (I didn't think of that).
  • Or use paperclips- clip 6.27, and 6.28 then then use another clip to put them together- so you get 3 neat sets.
  • Hi Jaks - just wanted to wish you good luck for tomorrow. I'm also going for BR tomorrow at 11am, so I'll be thinking of you. :) x x
