does anyone have a tried and tested,preferably simple and idiot proof recipie for date and walnut cake please??
my husbands grandma used to make one and he often mentions it - shes sadly gone so i cant ask and no one else i know has one and i cant seem to find one.
well i bought reduced dates and walnut pieces(and have walnuts) so would like to make him one if anybody could help please???

I use the Bero one, it's really easy and very nice and moist, just make sure that it's really cool before you tip it out of the tin or you can end up leaving half of it behind!
