New hope for Scottish Power - cashback Powerplan warranty customers

Apologises if this is an old thread, however it effects me and it means the difference between getting nothing back and a full refund in some cases.
If like me between 1990's and early 2001/2 you purchased a cashback powerplan warranty with an electrical product from a Scottish Power electrical retail shop (now defunct).
You maybe interested to know that although Powerplan (who administered the cashback deal- not Scottish power) have now gone into liquidation , customers can still in some cases get a full cashback.
The liquidators website is https://www.powerplaninadministration.co.uk
and contains straight forward instructions to get at least 15% back with the potential of more in 2007.
The interesting point is that many people have since claimed via Section 75 Consumer Credit Act against the Credit card company (if bought on CC) and the Finance company (if bought on interest free/ finance).
Although I don't like routing people away from Martins excellent site the below link saves me filling the page up. (link includes copy letters etc)

Hope it helps more than me.
