Hi i really do now know if i am in the right place or not as i am new to this and i dont know what topics can be talked about and the rest of it like that. But i was wondering if i could ask a question about Driving lessons. I'll brielfy explain the situation i have, I am 18 years of age, and am engaged to a 33 year old mother of 5! One of these children has disabilities and is required to go from our small town to the main hospital and even further abroad every 6 weeks for testing. I am nearly ready foir my driving test, and have a car waiting for me, we are struggling for money greatly as we have 5 birthdays in the next 2 months and we generally struggle anyway as there are 7 of us living in the house. I wanted to know if there was anything that could be done that would save us money and get me passed my driving test. My social worker informed me there may be trust funds that may be able to help but i am unsure. Can anyone help with information???? Thanks

you could try applying to the family fund, depends on how disabled the child is and the help that they need, worth trying though
more info here:
http://www.familyfund.org.uk/
there is also a site which gives help and support for families with disabilities:

Freebie Manor was the name on the Plaque my mum gave me for first home which was equiped with freebie banded cups, teapot, coffee pot oh and a sofa which cost a bottle of Vodka. My motto's are don't ask dont get, and don't buy if they say no.0
