Shows what an expert I am :rotfl: . Our offset was best deal they did at time, currently I am on 5.74% & 5.34%. I agree re getting overpayments back, they are very good at that. Bit worried about the fact they are not looking for new business, doesn't look good for getting good rate when our deal finishes (in 2 years).
Due to a c*ck up by Egg our offset is linked to the wrong account. We had a remortgage which is at 0.4% lower rate, they've linked it to that & can't change it. Mustn't complain too much as for 18 months offset was linked to both accounts and as we had a lot of money in there at one stage we saved around £1300 in interest ( :kisses3: thanks Egg!). I now make capital payments when we have a few thousand in account, and although we still owe the same amount overall it is much more satisfying than having it in offset somehow
. And, just as important, it does interesting things to spreadsheets and graphs 
. A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
