Anybody have any recommendations for two single rooms close to Edinburgh city center for 3 nights from 18th Sept, (probably 3 star? but flexible)

Hiya - sorry, but as I'm just 40 min outside Edinburgh and when in town for the night stay with friends, I really don't know what to recommend.
HOWEVER, you could look at:

Hope you find what you want and enjoy Edinburgh! :beer:Still waiting for Dyson to bring out a ride-on hoover...Memberships:

The public transport in Edinburgh is really good, I think you've left it awfully late to find something reasonably priced in central Edinburgh.
Is there a reason it needs to be central?Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Does it have to be hotel? ; areas like Eyre Place have lots of B&B/guest houses. Or as previous poster says, transport is good, try Corstorphine in a search, easy bus ride to town.
I use https://www.smoothhound.co.uk or https://www.s-h-systems.co.uk instead of active hotels, for more small hotel/b&b.0 -
It might be a bit late now but there is a Travel Lodge that looks to have rooms still available at this short notice. It is at Haymarket which is central. Also you could try Travel Inn. There is one at Piccardy Place which is also central. It really depends on how much you want to pay. B&B's are quite a good idea and there are loads in Edinburgh.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Seems a reasonable price, I live near there and know for a fact there is a good bus service to center of town which is every 10mins (5min travel time)0
