the wife has just rung me and mentioned that theres loads of reduced toys in sainsburys, she said lots of doctor who stuff, fireman sam figures + walkie talkies @ 75% off.

also snow white princess??? wwe stuff, play doh @ 50% off.

i know theyve had mega toy sales recently, dosnt sound quite as large scale, but some good bargains to be had by the sounds of things.

Thanks - just picked up a few stocking fillers. My local one (Bristol -Filton) had talking Peppa Pigs for £2.24 instead of £5.99, Barbie dolls for £1 instead of £4.99, tambourines for £1 instead of £3.99, Power rangers stuff half price, rattles and acitivity cubes 75% off. Ninky Nonk £6.49 half price, quite a few other bits too. All the science museum range was half price too. Firemam Sam fire engine £2 and walkie talkies £2.

in the seasonal section i got some hooded beach towels for kids down to 99p each and the bratz aluminium sports bottles where £1.24 instead of £4.99 i also got a princess barbie for £2 from £8 and some stationary which was also reduced loads of picnic plates cups etc all greatly reduced

Ohhh, I desperately want one of those Fireman Sam engines for DD2. Tried to get one from Argos but they had sold out and my nearest Sainsburys is 22 miles each way:(.

I bought a Banana Bite wet suit half price in Swansea Sainsbury's today (£27 > £13.50). Not many left so be quick if you want one.

They also had all acrylic paint sets and similar artist sets going for 75% off.

I bought a couple of crazy golf sets and a golf set for my grandson all at 74p each. Also got him a Finding Nemo swimming ring and beach ball. Don't know how it worked but got 500 extra Nectar points, did ask at customer service but they didn't know what the points were for. Went back and bought another 2 crazy golf and another golf set but no extra points that time. Friends wee boy is very happy with the extra ones though.

Went into my local today and got a 'cookie jar' shape sorter for £3 something, Ninky Nonk £6.49 and 6 Dr Who series 4 figures (only recently come out!!!) for £1.62 each!!

In the Night Garden box of figures was £12.XX down to £6.50
Narnia Beast rider and figure was £14.99 down to £1.24:beer:
Narnia Individual figures were £4.99 down to £1.24
Barbie Mermaids (2 small figures) down to 99p (2 different sets)
Barbie Tropical Beach doll (in bikini) down to 99p
My little pony (ponyville) paysets £9.99 down to £2.50
Scooby Doo van and figure £4.99 down to £1.25

In the Oxney road Peterborough store yesterday I managed to get 4 packs of the 7 figure micro dr who characters. Were £10 reduced to 32.50, Shame they didn't have more of the dr who things in that store though (I checked the other Peterborough store a few days ago), my children are mad on dr who.
I also got a 24 pice artists set for £1.26 reduced from £5.99 I think.
Power rangers junior top trumps 75p reduced from £2.99.
2 dr who stationary sets £2.99 reduced from £5.99.
So some good bargains to be had. I might even nip down again 7 see if they have any new things in.
