Oh god, just remembered this - lady in front of me at the till getting some of the reduced toys but she only had 2 items (all are on 3 for 2) and the SA said "would you like to go and get another one? They're on 3 for 2" and she said NO  SA again "are you sure? (looking stunned)" (bearing in mind, they're right next to the tills, so she didn't have to go far!) and the woman said "no, I didn't want anything else"

I was *this* close <holds thumb and forefinger millimetres apart> to asking "well, can I have instead then" but managed to restrain myself :rotfl:

    OMG whats wrong with people:eek:

even if you donr want anything else you could have picked something and gave it to someone whos poor,im sure their kiddie would be delighted or even dump it in a charity shop :(

im not allowed to say what i think so ner!:p
  • That Max Factor box is soooo cute! I'm a GWP <s>freak</s> fan as well. In the days before I discovered the lovely Mr Boots, I would buy them from my friends. It's the 'dinkiness' of things I like.

    [insert innuendo of choice here]

    :o

It's the same with mini perfumes...they are not just cuter than the full size, they are a zillion (approximately) times cuter! The JPG minis especially (not that I own them, mind you-just covet from afar, lol).

"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

I might of got the New Jean Paul Gaultier Ma Dame 50ml for £42.00( not reduced:D ).I needed it.

    I then got

    Usher x 2 £4.00 each
a number of Bvlgari perfumes at £12.00 each.
    and many, many, more:o :o:o

    Total spend £50.00 of points

I wear perfume every day, even on my own, cleaning in the house.

    Excellent, good work:D

I love the new JPG one, got a sample the other day, think I am gonna have some of that too!

I also wear perfume everyday. I have been known to miss my train to work because I had to come home again to put perfume on. I now have a mini bottle of my fave perfume in each work bag, (I even considered asking the man in the ticket office at the train station if I could store a bottle there for emergencies:rotfl: :rotfl: )

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

xx Mama to a gorgeous Cranio Baby xx
  • I agree Squiggs-it's criminal, innit? :( I know "This Morning" does a 'Give a Gift' appeal every Xmas, for example and a toy would have been brilliant for that, or similar(A hospice? A children's ward?)

Some of my Bootsing bits and bobs will be going as tombola prizes for a children's cancer charity I'm a trustee for-it's just comon sense, really. A freebie's just not something you turn down-somebody somewhere would make good use of most things, or the money they could raise.

I have sustained a bootsing injury! Nothing major though, I seemed to have damaged my finger from carrying too many toy filled bags today :rotfl: it's gone completely numb  :rotfl:

Got lots of toys 75% off and 3 for 2

The SA who served me was absolutely brilliant, helping me find all the toys that were being reduced, I will be contacting CS to praise her up no end :T

Anyway my pressie [strike]stash[/strike], [strike]cupboard[/strike], huge 3 door wardrobe is bulging at the seams lol, added today:

1 x Boots LTP learn along lorry £5 (was £20)
1 x Boots LTP Splish splash turtle £3.75 (was £15)
1 x Boots LTP Brumm brumm driver £3 (was £12)
3 x Moonsand under sea set £2.50 each (was £10)
3 x Playdoh fuzzy pumper crazy cuts £2.50 (was £10)
    1 x Big hug Laa laa £6.25 (was £24.99)
1 x Vtech sing and discover piano £5 (was £19.99)
1 x Thomas the tank engine learn to tell time alarm clock £3 (was £12)
1 x Boots LTP Healthy Harry game £1.50 (was £6)
    1 x Boots LTP Bits n pieces rhyme time £1.75 (was £7)
    1 x Boots LTP Bits n pieces monsters £1.25 (was £5)

As it was 3 for 2 I obviously didn't pay for all of that, so £33.25 for £181.98 worth of goodies :T

For anyone thinking that I look like a greedy so and so, I did leave lots on the shelves, but It is DD's birthday in 12 days and I thought I would give her party guests a little gift rather than loads of tack in a party bag ;)

I also got some more perfume: the Dior J'adore summer edition (with the gold shimmer) for £11.50 :D I have lost count of how much perfume I have now but I think it's about 26 bottles :o:p

What a great shop!!! What Boots was this?
