Mr BTVB just called as he was dragging a HUGE bag of stuff from Boots back to work...Apparently SS till went mad when he tried to use more than one Mitchum voucher in the same transaction, so had to go through the "normal" tills...no TS to be seen - I've not seen a damn bottle of that elusive £6.99 serum
Never mind, I was only going to give the stuff away if I found it anyway. I gather he finally found some more JK nail files, and I think there was something about having enough No7 till spits left over to stuff a duvet with...
Will get Mr BTVB to report with full details laterDFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0 -
I know this is off topic but I know lotsof you girls like the make up looks on here so I found a site yesterday which you upload your pic on and experiment with different make up and hair etc and its brill.

I have done some on me already-not sure if I will post them though:oAvon sales - C4 £1080 -
:T Hurrah, finally used up the last of my TSs and pinkies today (have saved 1 pinkie for the new No7 mascara and GWP though of course) even though I got given 2 more sets back, so had to go around again to use them :rotfl:
MrsBB - finally used the Autumn pallet and Peacock eye-liner this morning! Am impressed - the colours still look lovely now...... eyeshadow usually wears off after a few hours with me (then again, I did use an 'eye-shadow primer' this morning, don't know if that made any difference). Found the eye-liner a bit 'fiddly' to be honest, but I've never used one like that before (with a brush) so probably just takes some getting used to
I won't bore you all with my listsbut I managed to get:
8 x Mitchums
2 x Sanctury Masks
2 x No7 Eye-make-up Remover
TD toner
2 x TD exfoliator
R&M make-up sponges (set of 3)
No7 Moisture Gloves
R&M Eye-Liner brush
Spent £5.34
Saved £62.05
Oh and er....... if anyone's wondering if the MF GWP Brush Set (the black box with the red ribbon around it) goes through free without any MF purchase, then er...... yes, it doesYou can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that

I really hope you're not taking it personally when people talk about bad SAs, because no one is making blanket statements here that all SAs are like that. Many of us have worked as SAs at some point in our lives. Bascially, there are all kinds of people in the world, and some of them are mean, rude, unreasonable, etc. And a few of the ones fitting that description work at Boots, and when we complain about them, we aren't complaining about all SAs everywhere. We're venting, and it helps.
Hey, not taking it personal as I know it isn't about me, but I wanted to urge people that have problems with SA's to contact CS as it seems to be happening more regularly and if I had the attitude that some of them do at work I wouldn't have a job...I get what you mean about venting, it has to be done else you'll end up taking it out on the wrong person...But I changed my attitude towards some of them when I realised that I was prob one of heir annoying customers like the ones I get at work, I hope not but yeah...In other news my sister is applying for an Xmas job in Boots lol0 -
I would just like to say that Boots cs DO listen!!
I emailed last week about an "incident" with a ver very rude SA and got a reply today with some lovely points added to my card to apologise and also named the manager and said my email would be used for training!
Fab thanks Mr B

Wow, I am glad I have expressed my opinion on
hiya
its not really about the glitches always ,, as my previouse post mentioned i WAS denied to use a till spit which i got after spending £5 in store Was totally out of order , i just walked away without arguing but anyone else Wouldnt Have !!!
the voucher are sent out for a reason and i dont know what the F*****$$$$ SAs problems are when it comes to using vouchers They are just plain and simply jealouse !!
So far yet i havent even tried the trevor sorbie glitch with the serum as there has been None in the woking boots store since the 2 for 7 offer began , and if there was any i wouldnt be buying just that but something else to disguise the glitch and definetly not do it 20 times
mention no name of a certain store boots ,SAs are nothing but a bunch of loosers0 -

Scarlett,
I use the No7 concealer brush with mine - makes it much easier to apply, I have read on here that others that used the R&M i-define brush but I prefer the concealer brush, its like using a felt tip pen!0 -
Was in my local this morning and the SA told me she couldn't scan my 250 No7 pointer as didn't scan.
I had bought the nail polish so I knew it would scan, I told the SA to try and of course it worked. SA told me that her and the Manager had spent ages trying out products to see what it worked on as loads of customers had tried to use them without sucess................ I then told her exactly what products they worked on!
She seemed very pleased and said a big thank you to me!0 -
