Just really after a 'standard' hairbrush if that makes sense? Mum will just use my others for when she washes and styles her hair as I'm mad and soak mine in milton every few days :rotfl: but wanted a standard one for her for when she travels etc :)

poundland has revlon hairbrushes in :)

    MrsBB - another triumph I reckon! ;)

Here is my effort of the blue/silver to go with my dress - not as good as yours but it was a first attempt! The pale blue I used almost looks silvery - hard to take a picture of it! I know its not great but thought I'd share it - at least I know I need some more practice before my friends wedding!

EDIT: Awww, my pic didn't upload again.....

Awww, thank you hunni :) please post a link for you piccie, I wanna see :D I'm sure it looks lovely sweetie ;)

"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

    Hi Cat and Geordie_Lass

No, not tried reusable/washable. Maybe that's the way to go, will get one and try, see how DS gets on. If that doesn't work, it will have to be potty training, methinks.

    Thank you for the advice.

Mrsbluebear - your eyes look fantastic! Great job! Hope the eye pallette is the one you want. Will post tmw.

Geordie_Lass, not checked under all furniture, but I know there is a problem under the bed, where some of our stuff is going mouldy, so definitely a damp patch there, but now concerned as feeling it in more places in the bedrooom. But because DS crawls around there, not sure if him or damp.

Problem with rented accommodation, can complain but what do we do meantime?

Do Boots help with accommodation? Do they give points to move into a better place? Would love it if they did.

Pash - I love you. xxx;)
It certainly sounds like there's a damp problem rather than just a teething baby. I would get in touch with your landlord and insist that he investigates and gets it sorted for you. Make sure he arranges to have the carpets replaced afterwards too and any other items that have been damaged, I'm sure there are boards here on MSE that can give you advice on how to proceed.

Just a thought but the mould spores can cause skin irritations and cold-like symptoms, could this be why babe is itchy and dribbly? Your HV will support you in getting your landlord to sort things out quickly for you.

A very, very weak bleach solution will kill mould spores in carpets but if there's a damp problem then the carpet wouldn't dry out and you would be making the problem worse, treating it would only work for small areas too, otherwise you would be disturbing a lot of mould spores making it worse, personally I would leave well alone and get your landlord to sort it out.
