letter required

can anyone point me in the direction of a letter to send an offer of what i can afford each month to a DCA. I foolishly agreed on the phone after being pressured an amout i cant afford...i want to send a new offer by letter accompanied by my SOA.

    If you select "Ask your creditors to accept pro rata offers of payment on your debts" that is probably the one you need.

    If you go on the cccs website..see links at top of forum. Then there is a debt remedy you can fill in with template letters to send out. In the meantime you can send a letter stating you are having problems and it with a token amount you can afford.

    Do not worry agreement by phone is not worth the paper it written on . If they hassle you , send a CCA AND Notice of Assignment request . This will confirm that have a legal right to the debt . NOTHING should be paid until you receive both .
  • Have you sent a letter asking for a signed CCA? Send that before you offer them any money at all. It doesn't matter what you have agreed to on the phone.
    LBM £18463.32 in debt 10th June 2008,
    £12470.99 in debt 10th June 2009.
