  • https://www.trailroutes.com is another site which offers a number of free routes both for walkers and mountain bikers. Enjoy the exercise!

    Thankyou so much, added it to my faves' list, we visit different country parks and various walks, with our dogs every sunday, and when there's a Cafe/Shop, thats a added bonus! (especially in the winter)

    rcb7, in that case you MUST see https://www.geocaching.com it is a must see site for any outdoor / walking enthusiast.

  • The Yorkshire Water website holds descriptions of quite a lot of walks - in Yorkshire, of course! Their website states:

    Each walk can be downloaded giving:

    * Map of walk route
    * Instructions
    * Information on points of interests

    Where possible, facilities such as car parks, picnic sites and toilets are provided and we've created routes suitable for the disabled, cyclists and horse-riders.
