Ok so you were happy with the payment but not the APR? Unfortunately they go together.

Classic textbook mistake here by giving the salesman a figure. Of course he is going to make sure he comes in at or just under your monthly bdget. Not much you can do about as it was signed on trade premises but it should be a learning for you and anyone else that you check everything before signing and never ever give a salesman a monthly figure.

that happened to me. i just went back (within 7 days) and told him i would not be taking the finance and will be paying it another way. tried to change my mind and adjust apr% but didnt give in. salesman would have lost on his commission big time! you still have time to change but you need something in place right away before saturday.

just want to say as well, you worries may well not be over, chances are the warrenty you bought is not worth the paper it is printed on. We were sold that and not being car mechanics thought wow this is fantastic...until 10 mths later when the mot showed up a £900 fault, no worries we figured, but the warranty people said sorry thats not covered...however the thing that goes wrong with that part is the only thing and they had not covered that fault, as the mechanic said there isnt another reason that would fail, he then looked through the warranty and said nearly everything is earmarked like that. We rang trades description and they have so many complaints and sent us all the forms to complain about it etc.
