This is incredibly embarassing but I suppose I am not the first. I am over my limit on my credit card by a hundred pounds and my current account is now over a hundred pounds over in unauthorised overdrafts. I have already been paid for this month and we have nothing go in now until 25th September. In the meantime we have barely enough to live on. We were kinda relying on my wifes bursary being processed in time for her resuming her course (there is now a six week delay at the bursaries office) and then this money would have sorted us out and got us back into credit.
I already have a loan for £3000 with RBS which they will not increase because of my current circumstances, they have also refused to change my overdraft.
Have I got any options left??? We need around a £1000 to see us through until when the bursaries finally decide to process my wifes re-application. Any advice will be more than gratefully received.

you need to contact creditors who aren't going to get paid this month and make an arrangement of some kind and look at cancelling DD's which are going to bounce and then incur more bank charges - you can always set them back up again next month.
Look into starting to claim back bank charges (although with the stay in place it won't get sorted yet).
Come over to the Debt Free Wannabee board and start a thread there. You are on a slippery slope just piling debt on top of debt and you need to stop before it gets any more out of control than it already is.
We can help you get through the month if you detail your situation."Stay Wonky":D

Well I have had a (kinda) happy ending. Got in touch with RBS again who have refinanced my loan so I do not have to use Welcome Finance at 60% Apr! Will get us back on the straight and narrow and my wife's bursary is sorted.
Thumbs up for RBS!
Thanks for the advice people.0
