kapow, kapow - stick 'em up!!!!

Well, I went and I got to play with a couple of guns!!

I was shocked at how ramshackle the place was - purely down to lack of money. It seems that after the laws changed with Dunblane, loads of members left shooting clubs and numbers at this one are now very low. Apparently it only stays open due to them owning the building and sub-letting to another club which is mostly outdoors shooting.

I used a gun like the silver one here

I think I'll be going back next Monday. I was shown how the leagues work - apparently there are divisions for people just starting out, so who knows!! It's £3 a session for a guest but if I become a member, it's £40 membership and then £2.50 per session - and I get to play with the big guns

There was one guy in all the proper clothing and he used a long rifle and hit 5 perfect bullseyes on 1 card, it was :eek: he was so good!

I'd left a note for OH, he was full of how his driving day was when I got back - he wasn't interested in what I'd been doing - but I told him anyway! :rotfl:

Right, gotta go to work.

Morning everyone

I slept like the dead last night - went to aqua aerobics and either I'm a lot less fit than I was a decade ago or it's much tougher now (I think a combination of the two).

I'm the only one in the office again this morning - one girl is on an excel course and the other is at home with what sounds like the world's worst sore throat, knowing her thought she'll come in on her day off to make up time (evne though she's ill)!
