If you look on anything that has sweetners in it the pack usually says "excessive consumption may cause a laxative effect". Shame for me as a diabetic!!!0

Oh god dont i know it. Im so allergic to aspartame, last time i had a sip of lucozade by mistake i fell to the floor about 30 seconds later screaming with agony from the intense headache that ensued. everyone in sainsburys carpark thought i was possessed!a lot of sugar substitutes have aspartame in them which is worse for you than proper sugar !0
