Any Beauty Counter Freebies?

I'm going shopping in a few days time and will be visiting stores such as Debenhams which have beauty counters. Was wondering if anyone knew of any freebies in which some counters may be giving away at the moment, or maybe even any links to websites with printable vouchers I could take to a counter? Many thanks! :j

there is a dior mascara on the board somewhere and also another make of mascara... if you ask at the counter if they have any small samples they sometimes have them left over from promos and will give them to you especialy if you make a purchase, when ever you buy anything anywhere ALWAYS ask what you can get for free or knocked off... its not cheeky its good money saving! If you don't ask you don't get. You will also find the more you ask the more confident you will get... eventually it will roll off as easy as hello or goodbye.

dont know of any in particular, but basicly, the bigger the brand, the more freebies they seem to offer, its usuall dependant on you buying something first, then they tend to chuck stuff in to make you smile, my mum used to do this alot, she would ask for a moistuiser from say clarins or clinique and they would offer 2 or 3 things, she would say "you know I am not quite sure" and they would chuck in a smple freebie, keep asking, get more and more, she also used to say "I was wondering about you 'dramaticly different moisturiser' or whatever she had read in the latest magazine and blatently just come out and say, 'do you have any samples?' and quite often they would.

But you must be buying something at the same time, the sales persons are quite intelligent to spot a blagger and someone who could be a customer who comes back for more, and at the end of the day, tey are after sales, not someone to just give stuff to (unfortunatly!) so you may need to practice your pitch! lol!

The moe you buy, the more freebies they give, so its worth finding something from them that is really value for money like for me its thier eyemakeup remover- nothing lasts as long or works as well as the stuff from clarins or from clinicque. But thats just me.

Also, try asking them for a skin consultation, both origins and clinique are well known for giving away a weeks trial sample but its normally during a promotional week so maybe contact the head office and ask when the next promotion is.

The major brands that do give away freebies tend to be Lancome Clinique, Origins, Benefit, Clairins, Dior and Este Lauder, I think at the moment Elizabeth Arden are doing something with their 8 hour cream to clelbrate some rite of passage for the brand or something- they are giving away a sample of the stuff.

I think on their website they have a beauty club that you sign up for, then you get offers.

I had a free chanel mascara a couple of weeks ago from debenhams, they were promoting it on their website and said to ask in store.

Theres also a voucher for a trio sample pack of Elizabeth Arden 8 hour range floating around somewhere but i cant find it.
