I have a mortgage with NR which is due to end in May of next year. I have approx 50% equity in my property. My mortgage is 75k and my current mortage current payments are £550 per month.
I earn aprox £2000.
My question is does anynoe have experience of One Accout, who is it good for, is it better than a conventional mortgage.
Any help would be very very greatly apprechiated.
Many thanks

There was a thread on here regarding the one account a day or so ago, although some people like it, basically its expensive for what it is and there are offset mortgages available with much better rates that offer just as much flexibility / functionality. My Excel Mortgage Calculator Spreadsheet: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=11571730

As well as the above link, this thread goes into it quite deep:

The whole mortgage market will probably look a bit different by May. Good Luck.0 -
Personally I'd seek out the lowest rate that (allowing for fees) that gives you flexibility to repay debt faster - and then be disciplined enough to do so!
One gives you the flexibility, but is rarely cheap in the market place.0
