Litter picking campaign.
Great idea - I've been picking up bottles, cans etc from my local area.
Happy chappy

This is really brilliant - thanks - I hope that there are people who want to do this - posting on here is a really good way of spreading the word widely geographically and maybe doing something postive in their own community.

We have loads of people dumping things where I live as well as dropping ordinary litter and it is really unpleasant for everyone else plus it may help encourage recycling/re-using.

I love getting freebies but am also all for giving some of my free time for things such as this.

    Thanks!

Great post, this is a fab idea. I hate seeing the amount of rubbish dropped around our road, it would be great to get one of these organised.

The estate where I live is pretty much litter free. However, the canal and the footpath out the back have provided me with a lot of work. It must just be a few morons who drop it all, most people have been very supportive when they see me picking things up. I filled a bin bag with bottles, cans, crisp packets etc in 20 minutes one day. I was digging deep though.

It provides an interesting insight into the socially challenged.

    LMAO! :rotfl:

Seriously though it sounds like a great idea but isn't it taking away the road sweepers job? (not the picking up of women... LOL!)

Oh, and I HATE litter louts  I guess I was brought up proper like!
