The 2008 Nationwide Mercury Prize compilation CD will be released on 25th August 2008 and features a track from each of the 12 Albums of the Year shortlisted for this year’s Prize, including Adele, British Sea Power, Elbow, Estelle, Laura Marling, Neon Radiohead and The Last Shadow Puppets. Win albums!
The overall winner of the 2008 Nationwide Mercury Prize will be announced on Tuesday, 9th September at the Awards Show, where there will be live performances from many of the shortlisted artists. Programmes will be broadcast on BBC Two, Radio 1 and Radio 2.
