Sheepskin Pram Liners

Does anyone have a sheepskin liner for their pram or buggy.
I am thinking of getting one as they look so cosy but just making sure it is worth the expense.
Also Can anyone suggest where to get one at a reasonable price as Mamas and Papas are charging £60.
I know IKEA do sheepskins for about £25 but not sure if you are able to use these (by cutting holes for the harness) or if they have to be specially treated if to be used by a baby etc.

I used to use these lambskins when my children were tiny and found them really good. They had them to sleep on in their cots as well as lining the pushchair. One of the advantages was that the child would sleep anywhere as long as they had the lambskin - in fact one of my boys (now in his teens  ) still has the remains of one on his pillow
. I think it's probably better to use a specially treated one for babies, to ensure there are no loose fibres which they might breathe in/swallow. They are washable (take ages to dry though - better to have more than one), and last for years.

I don't think they are trated for babies. There are plenty of "generic" ones around and you may need to cut the holes for straps but they don't really "move" around so it doesn't tear.I lost my job as a cricket commentator for saying “I don’t want to bore you with the details”.Milton Jones0

Although you may find your child sleeps too hot on one of these? Eldest was OK, middle son used to get too hot despite being born in December as opposed to July! Can't remember if we used it for youngest (March), they may have been out of favour by then ...Signature removed for peace of mind0
