New car and being undischarged

I didn't have a licence when I bought my husband a car 16 years ago. I needed it to do the shopping and run my 2 young children around and go to visit their grandparents 75 miles away. Just because I couldn't drive, it still made my life a lot easier. So there are many reasons a person who can't drive might want a car.
There has been a lot of judging on this forum lately and if the 'Living with Bankruptcy' forum irritates some people perhaps they should go to a different forum.

Sammy,
All you need to do is for your wife to buy the car in her name, make sure the invoice is made out to her. But get it registered it in your name so you can insure it. If you're buying it from a dealer make sure you tell them to register it to you, otherwise they'll automatically register it to your wife, you can get the DVLA to change this after without increasing the number of owners, but it's easier if they get it right in the first place.
So case solved, no need to tell the OR you wife has bought a car!:DAccept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Also make sure any invoice has her name on it and that the money can be seen to have come out of her account that way there is a nice paper trail to her buying the car and not you.

Never mind you posted at same time as me sammy."Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"
