  • Hi Lawlorlane
PCworld promise to pricematch the item by deducting 110% of the DIFFERENCE between the price of this offer and their own price. PCworld's price is nearly thirty quid, therefore the difference is about twenty quid. PCworld will reduce their tennis game by the twenty quid difference (100%) and a further two quid aprox (the remaining 10% of the difference). So, pcworld will pricematch by offering it to you at roughly two quid less which is just under £8! Hope this helps! It's worth remembering - for there have been quite a few things recently, like the digital picture frame at amazon, that have come under the terms of pcworlds offer and have therefore been even cheaper than the original bargain price!
I have gained from advice as well as bargains here, so if I can help in any way, I am only too pleased to do so and appreciate your thanks.

Out of stock at Gamestation now - doh !!!

and at Woolies - too slow !!!!
  • Hi CBFC
You can order online for collection instore and then tell them when/where it is, when you go to pick it up. PCworld will open the gamestation page, check it out, and then should honour their promise. Otherwise, as its free delivery online for this game, you should be able to phone up the special number for price matching on the right hand side of their home page and give all the details over the phone!

  • With reference to above post... pcworld only honour 'in stock' items. Such a shame we're too late!

  • Thanks - picked mine up in PCworld this morning - £7.97!! They weren't too happy about price matching, as its £29.99 in store - they then tried to price match at £9.99 until i mentioned the 110% - i felt really cheeky :rotfl:

Anyway, great bargain, thanks for posting!

  • Well done Dollymixture!
I too had a major argument with pcworld a few weeks ago when they tried to renege, saying an amazon offer did not include postage when it was clearly free delivery! - I resorted to letter and eventually got phone call and apology. It's their price promise, so make them stick to it!
