Nintendo Wii £159.99 Woolworths

Wondered if those in the know can tell me if this is a good buy? Sounds like it is to me but I have never bought anything like this! It is normally £179.99 in Woolworths.

It is showing as £159 online:

Personally I don't think this is the that good a deal - the bundles are better.

Last weekend I got Wii + Mario Kart for £179 from Currys (£174 with 3.5% quidco). I believe Mario Kart is worth more than £20.

If you just want a standard Wii with no additional games, then the Woolworths deal is good.
  • Thanks all! I think I will go for it and the darlings can always choose there own games when the time comes!
  • im thinking of buying this and have read the long description , but wanted to double check whats in the pakage.

    Obviously you get the console
    1 remote
    wii sports game

but do you get a nunchuck and anything else with it. I think it is a good buy, considering i could buy the mario kart game separately for £30, therfore this game and this console would only be £190.

Mbailey you said above that you paid £180 for the console and Mario Kart, but did that include the wii sports game?

Im gonna purchase this tommorrow. I really i want the games wii play and mario kart (which i will buy separately). I have looked at all the other bundle offeres but i think buying the console from woolworths and the two games seperately, would work out cheaper for me. If anyone sees any goo offers could you please let me know
:confused:I say im a moneysaver, my family think im a cheapskate!
  • UK Wii consoles should come with Wii Sports, one controller (with 2 AA batteries) and one nunchuk as far as I'm aware.
  • this might sound like a wierd question, but how big is the wii package.

Its just that i have a woolworths about half an hours walk and as i currently have no car, ill either have to carry it home or bring it on bus. But im worried about the area its in, once somebody clocks what i have bought it is likely to get snatched.

So i was thinking i could get away with it, if it would fit into a large side bag or backpack.

  • I think it's about the same size as average adult shoe boxes?
  • btw this offer ends on monday the 7th!!

so be quick if your gonna get it!
