The guy keeps texting me telling me not to do anything till he's back and he'll do it with me. he's absolutly no money so I know he can't help, he just doesn't want me landing him in trouble. It's still really hard to ignore though....

I might reconsider telling my mum once I'm on the road to sorting it out.

If this guy is worried then he might help you in some way.
The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best

  • unfortunately I think he's just trying to cover his own back - he's concerned he is going to get in trouble?

You have to look after yourself here. You can't wait for him to keep making false promises if you know deep down he's never going to pay you for them.

Sadly, I don't think the police will be interested - everything is in your name and you voluntarily gave him the items, probably the same with the phone companies.

I would try to tell your mum - if she finds out you've had all this hurt and you couldn't tell her she will be even more upset. At least if she knows then it is her and you sorting it out together rather than just you on your own.

And if he does want to kill him - let her have a rant and a rage at him - might scare him enough to hand over some money ;)

Why are you still even speaking to this scum?
Ignore him and sort it out yourself, for your own peace of mind. I can't believe you are still listening to anything that he says. The CAB is a good place to start.
You're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *
  • This a really awful thing to have happened to you. How did he blackmail you? Did you really think he would pay the bills when you took out the contract? If you think there is a chance your mum could chuck you out then dont tell her as the last thing you need is to be homeless as well, but in time debt collectors will call round if its left, so you need to contact citizans advice and they will speak to the company for you and have letters sent to them instead of to you which will take the pressure off, and will only arrange payments you can afford, even if its a pound a month, you need to act fast with this.
