Guy Watson uses his twenty years experience of growing vegetables to give an insight into choosing the tastiest seasonal vegetables for your table. You can discover why dirt is a good thing, why organic food isn't just for the middle classes and which carrot varieties are tastiest! The book is packed full of recipes from Jane Baxter, head chef of the farm’s famous Field Kitchen, from Spinach and Crab Frittata, Wet and Wild Garlic Risotto and New Potatoes Baked in Parchment, to Chocolate Courgette Cake, Beetroot Haters' Soup and Raspberry Brown Butter Tart.
The book is on general release from 1st September 2008 for £16.99.
