Has anyone downloaded this internet diet?

Have just read some of the blurb for a new kind of diet from the USA, but haven't downloaded it yet.

It costs $19 (around £10).

Has anyone else downloaded/tried it? What do you think of it?

Going on hols soon so need to shed some pounds, but not eating just makes me lethargic and food obsessed!

Any information much appreciated....

  • I've just seen Dale Winton on 'Loose Women'. He's back from the states having just lost weight (again) on a new type of diet. I think it could be this fat loss 4 idiots one. Does anyone know? I've only lost 1lb this week. Cut out all the naughty stuff and always hungry and that's all I get!
  • FatLoss4Idiots (WeightLoss4Idiots) Pay attention to what they say about the claimed weight loss.
When I lost weight doing this plan I easily sustained a weekly weight loss of 2.25lb each week for over 20 weeks without any problems and without spending any money or doing any extra exercise.

With Dr Dalhqvist's plan I wasn't hungry at all ever. I was able to eat all I wanted provided it was from the allowed foods. I think the fact I take sufficient omega 3 each day helped with feeling full and therefore not eating so much and feeling fuller for longer means it's easier not to snack.
As weightloss for idiots is basically a lowish carb plan with the twist of not eating the same foods on following days you may get a similar effect by having a low carb day followed by an intermittent fasting day. It seems some people on low carb plans do this to avoid stalling or to get out of a stall. I didn't have to but I did try it after I spend a weekend away from home and indulged in some off plan drinking and cakes, sandwiches etc and found I'd moved away from my target weight. It was quite easy because once your get used to low carb you lose your hunger cravings and skipping the odd meal or two is no problem as your fat cells are no longer driving your appetite.
