Mortgage advise

I have a mortgage in joint names with my Ex husband our 2 year fixed deal ends on 31 Oct, i need to remove his name from the mortgage and take it over. I earn very little (although i have been paying it for the last 18 months alone) and am worried that they will not allow me to do so, the house is worth approx £230,000 and the amount of mortgage remaining is approx £100,000 so i own over 50% of the property i also want to remain with my current company, i have been with them over 7 years and have never defaulted on any payments but i wish to just pay the interest for a few years, i also have my parents who are happy to be guarantees if needed. Any advise or recommendations are greatly apprecited as i have a meeting with them this friday and would like to be prepared and ready....

If your income is less than £25k-£30k you will probably need the guarantors.

Proof of their income and an understanding of their outgoings would be useful for the lender to assess.

See what they have to offer, but don't be afraid to shop the market for a better deal with lenders who accepts guarantors.
