Hot air Ballons?

Hi just wondered if anyone has ever had a hot air ballon ride and if they can recommend or give any pointers as to what to look for in a company offering these. My dads 60th is coming up and he's always wanted to do this so we are all going to put together to pay for it for his birthday. A few other family members may go as well dependant on cost so I am justy looking for any advice anyone can give about prices etc We are in east yorkshire, travel to get to a site to fly from is not a major problem although the nearer home the better I guess.
