Please remember though that the RSPCA are a charity, and can't really afford to be giving out too many of these, all info on animal welfare, recipes, etc are also available on the internet.

It is a "giveaway" so there will no doubt be limited amounts anyway and they probably would have sponsors for it, but also its like advertising for them and also people popping along could end up adopting an animal!

"Just one small change to your shopping can help to improve the lives of millions of farm animals. So please support Farm Animal Week, and pop in to a participating RSPCA charity shop to collect your free goody bag with our compliments." This suggests to me they would be glad to have more people interested in visiting and perhaps seeing the animals to keep the charity going :)

i agree with discobaby, i'm sure it's a well-planned, well-organised giveaway and the rspca will have set aside a finite number of these packs to be given away. i'm sure they'll measure the success (or otherwise) of the campaign, at least in part, by how many packs they've got left. i'm going to order one, beause i'm interested to find out what more i can do in terms of my own lifestyle, to support animal welfare. the book sounds good because it will help inform my decisions. the other freebies (stickers, fridge magnet etc) are neither here nor there.

    thanks discobaby

EDIT: i just noticed in the op that it has to be collected, so i will find the nearest rspca to me from your link, and get me down there :D that alone should help to weed out the people who just want a freebie for a freebies sake. there is at least some effort involved in this one!
