really excited about christmas this year and want to get some exterior christmas lights. has anyone spotted any bargains? hoping for the ones that stick on the house!!

Try Aldi, from next thursday they have lots of very good prices. I have a set of "net lights" that are on their 8th Christmas.

I've just bought an outdoor Santa thing from B&Q and when I got it home and read the instructions...I find that the plug and the control box both have to be sited indoors.

Nothing wrong with that...until I see that the wire from the light to the control box is only about 2 feet long. Not only that, but the wire leads from the top of the decoration, not the bottom...so Heaven knows how I'm going to work that one out!

Might be worth checking this kind of thing before you buy?

All the supermarkets are good for these, Tescos, Asda, Sainsburys. But I always find, especially with Asda - buy it when you see it.
