mortgage extensions and borrowing more money

have 1491 shares in Bunzl i also have about 10k which i think will have to go towards having an extension built on my girlfriends house(new child) I was thinking about getting the money out on her mortgage as there isn't much left on the mortgage and I will have my savings if anything happens, I was thinking that when house prices fall I will use my share money to buy a house that I will rent out which as it stands is 452 i want to sell when they are 5.50? what do you advise on my situation?
