Tesco 5p off litre petrol wys £50 on from 01/09/08

What happens if I buy something in store for over £50, use the voucher, but take the item back for a refund?
it shouldnt affect it, as last time I just went straight to the petrol station and filled up. It was a separate Til spit for the petrol vouchers and my store receipt. If you then went home and changed your mind about a product they cant ask for the petrol back.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0
