Digital SLR Camera

I am looking to buy my first digital SLR camera, and having read numerous reviews, and talking to some independent advisors, I am looking to purchase the Canon 350D (with a fast 1GB card). I have checked out eBay, Kelkoo etc, but I was wondering if anyone had good reccomendations on where to grab a bargain?
