Another NSD for me today. Only number 2 but I'm still happy. I managed to get a free sandwich for dinner and my mam bought me a paper to read in the car while my DD had her guitar lesson. I used to buy a paper most days, I hate to think how much i've wasted on them. Now I just get my mam to save them for me but today she didnt want me to take it so she gave me the money for one instead. She doesnt know about my money saving so she must think i'm being a right tight sod ! or a total scrounger?? She's not commented yet tho .

Ta Da! I've just had my second No Spend Day since starting this challenge. Although, I have to admit it was more because I lost my purse down the back of the sofa today! :rotfl:
    That money talks - I can't deny,
I heard it once - it said 'goodbye'!

well yesterday was my 3rd NSD, only 7 to go

unfortunately i got to buy some bits milk etc today so it will be a spend day fer me.
On a brighter note tho, a friend gave me some of those health start vochers as she wont use them, and my 3yr old drinks enough milk for me to warrant buying a cow, so that will help bring the total down to a low spend day
If we can put a man on the moon...how come we cant put them all there?

Nsd today. My oh wanted something sweet so I made him shortbread to avoid a supermarkrt trip (as u always spend more) and shortbread is one of the few sweet things I can pass on:D Yesterday he wanted pizza delivered, but I reminded him of our last purchase of pizza(very gross) and instead made him gourmet grilled cheese with olives, artichoke hearts, capsicum, onion, garlic & herbs with a side salad of lovely greens from my garden yum yum. So yesterday was also nsd total 6/20.

No NSD for me yesterday. OH decided we needed tinned toms so he could make tea. Really annoyed me coz i'm doing our shop tomoro and he could easily have made summat else instead. He thinks i'm barmy doing this but he'll soon be reaping the benifits once we're debt free 2yrs earlier than expected! Today will be a NSD tho.

Mmm, sounds delicious! I managed my 6th NSD today (halfway, yay!). Yesterday I'd planned to go to Boots, but the trouble was that I got carried away cos it was a day when I was allowed to spend. :o OK, I bought some presents and stuff I needed (anti-wrinkle cream :rotfl:), but still.. The moral of the story: always write a shopping list and stick it (sigh)

Had a few 'spend' days recently but hoping tomorrow should be a NSD ! Going tonight and getting a few 'essentials' so possibly even Friday could be a NSD !

Great to hear everyone is doing so well !
