Just a question, I know it may be a lot of work to start with, but have different sections for the current comps ever been discussed please?

I mean within the competitions bit, having a subforum for each calender month that the comps expire in - 12 months in advance and maybe a spare one for long dated comps. Maybe then no one would still need comps ending lists as you could just enter the current monthes worth. It may even make life easier for the BGs as they could just tidy with one sub section.

Well I've considered informing people when the date has been incorrect but don't want to come across as picky, treading on the toes of the board guides or just being a nuisance. I guess it's finding the right way to let people know!

Can i please ask nicely that we have no more discussion on the comps ending threads, the board guides will be discussing it this week, and a solution worked out.

Its not the end of the world if people miss a comp that ends tomorrow. Don't worry about it, relax and catch up with some pages instead.

Sorry only just logged on and been reading through all this and just wanted to say a quick ty for organising dates in the proper way..

I personally think that is the way forward, much easier & lurkers can put their own work into entering comps instead of just taking.

Remember, comping is not your life or your job, nothing will happen to you if you dont get it all done in time!!!
