One thing that stood out for me is that you've got no transport expenses? (car, bus etc):hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0

We had our car repossed in April & not ben able to afford a new 1. Hopefully we should be moving in 2 weeks time to rented house which is just round the corner from childrens schools therefore i wont be needing to catch the bus every morning. Could i still put down travel for buses each week for going shopping, visiting family etc?0

Worth putting it down .. the OR shouldn't expect you to be house bound

Thanks, how much would you suggest? If i visit family it's £4 return & if igo for any shopping it's £3.50 return. x0

Just put down a reasonable amount that should cover most of your journeys. I can't say an exact amount as what's allowed will vary on your situation and the OR.
Maybe take a look at some other peoples SoA's to get an idea of whats allowed? (just do a search on this forum for SOA or I&E and see what comes up):hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -
We do not have a car and we would need to use public transport if we needed to go anywhere out of town etc.
We are a family of 6. We were advised to put down £100 for transport on our SOA forms.
Also you could put a bit more down for your house keeping, we have put down £650 for this, perhaps you could put down £650-£700 as there are 7 of you.
You might be able to up your clothing allowance a little as well, maybe £120- £150?
You can also up you hairdressing to £45. I think you are allowed £10 per adult and £5 per child.
Have you got or will you be getting life insurance and home contents insurance?0 -
Thanks for the advise, ive updated the SOA with the amonts that have been suggested.0
