To defer my state pension

Hi, I'm going to be 60 next year (female) and considering putting off claiming my UK state retirement pension for a few years to increase the weekly payment, but how do I calculate this?
Would I be better of taking the basic pension and investing it or leaving it for 1-5 years, which would be the better deal? A handy ready reckoner would be nice.
Thank you for any help.
