I've arranged with my mum to do a carboot sale next Sunday  I've never done one before, so I've been reading up all the tips on the ebay/carboot thread. All I need to do is book a day off work this week, think I'll ask for Friday, then sort out my junk!! Might take more than a day :rotfl:

Have listed stuff on ebay, sold 3 games on Amazon, so am chipping away at my debts!

I had a total spend out when shopping. All stuff i need. I didnt use credit but debit card. Bought good quality clothes from high end shops. Good for depression and the clothes will last years. For example, 4 years ago I bought some GAP PJs for £20, they lasted me 4 years, had lot of use (had surgery a few times for medical condition nd got pregnant, so lots of lounging round in them. Same price as if I had bought 1 pair of cheapie primarks every year. also bought a new winter coat (first one for 8 years) in monsoon, it will have to last me 10 years now! Other bits and bats for work etc.
I did prk where it was free and walk into town.

    Afternoon all,

Good to be back home again! What a hassle this morning with Ryanair flight! After getting up at 2:30am Spanish time to catch 6:40am flight.

DFW things I can think of:
    • put away all the sachets of unused shampoo, body wash, suncream etc we took with us
    • didn't buy anything at airport/flight (which is v good for DH)
    • will do a washing shortly but v tired. :o
    • got 2 x £4 Luncheon voucher booklets in the mail
    • got e-mail from Boots customer services offering 300 points as an apology once I e-mail them my card no
    • we should be having something from the freezer for dinner tonight
Will venture out to the shops later. Will report back later if I do/think of anything else.

Andan, congratulations on passing your test!

    More to add... :T
    • got 9 points added to WH Smith card from receipt I found at airport when sitting waiting for DH who was in WH SMith
    • brought a few mags in WH Smiths got 7 points
    • Asda - got more mags but got discounts for buying certain mags together, also reduced organic butter 50p (put in freezer) and a punnet of plums reduced to 55p, used £1 off Grazia mag coupon
    • found 1p
    • Boots - got bottle of Pantene shampoo = £0 as I had a £2 off voucher
    • I will enter a competition shortly
    Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)

Hi guys, thanks for all the positive fibes about my first drive, went ok, wasn't too strange, but will take some getting used to, its going to be small steps!!

Hey to all new posters today. Sans nice to see you back and glad to hear you had a good time, sounds like you've been on a roll today.

Lablover, people use the "thanks" to thank someone for their post, they may have wrote something that you like, may have chatted with you or if like me, i like to thank everyone who posts on this thread as each person's post helps to motivate me and i thank them for the community spirit that they have added to on this thread. Time for a group hug!!:grouphug:

Well had a good day out and didn't over spend! Was very chuffed as i went out to slug and lettuce and due to their being a long wait for food the member of staff who served us, gave us fifteen percent off our meal, which was really nice. Have decided to write and thank slug and lettuce!

Also, my friend bought the local paper and found a 20% discount voucher for Borders inside, she decided not to use it as she has plenty of books to read but gave it to me. I bought two counselling books that i needed and ended up getting almost £7 off which was great.

    Evening All,

    Today,

I had stores lunch and tea
Turned off 2 heaters, as its been too hot the last couple of days
    Done at least 30 competitions
    Checked PB
    Checked online banking
Got some shopping for the meals I've planned for this week.
Signed up for NSD Challenge and £10 a day challenge, hopefully this month will be better, it will have to be after my weekend of madness last weekend.

Oh well back to the grind tomorrow, I suppose, tomorrow is my long day at work:o Also we were so busy Saturday laying the flooring, I forgot completely about the Road Tax, and tomorrow is the 1st so will spend my lunch hour at the queue in the Post Office getting the car taxed because the car was a gift from my dad, the papers just changed hands in the last couple of weeks so it didn't pick up the insurance on the online site, so will have to do it old styleee

Well done everyone, there's seems to be a lot going on today:T , I've picked up a few ideas for this week, thanx.
    Kalojac x
