the various "work from home" opportunities on sale on ebay

now i accept that, for the most part, it's information freely available online, or some random pyramid scheme or anything like that but I just wondered if anyone has ever had any joy out of any of them ?

I did pay £10 a few years ago for the right to run a horse racing tip "0898" type number, with a percentage of the profits coming to me.

it was totally genuine, but i had a complete and utter blank on how to market it

it's something i always look at, so i'd just be curious to know if anyone's ever made any money out of any of them?

Well speaking as one who has dug very deeply into get rich quick schemes and any kind of online money making.

Anyone who is selling you a way to make money is only doing it because the money they get from selling the scheme is the only money they will ever make from it.

Yeah, i think that's really the long and the short of it. I think the genuine work from home opportunities are few and far between because people don't shout about them.

You have to advertise them in magazines or newspapers - you know, one like those chat line ones.And those adverts will probably cost a lot. There is a directory in the library you can look at that lists every magazine and paper and the sorts of readers, ages, interests so you direct your sales towards them.

i do accept i was fairly restricted because i never had any money to pay for advertising costs, so it was always an uphill battle. That's why i wanted to come up with ideas to advertise them and just drew a blank.

he actually stopped doing them about a year later.

Hi, if it was me, and I didnt have the money to advertise in the press Id set up a website and blog with free articles etc on racing. Then put a link to it in your signature in different forums and advertise it in interest related groups on Facebook and other places. Get revenue from links to Amazon and adsense and those sorts of things and your racing line of course..
